Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011)

Guys, maybe it is not love you all need… Maybe you are better on your own, having fun with your friends, having a simple but a peaceful life. You should think twice when you consider dating a girl again… :)

I know that girls really have a potential of being evil sometimes and every now and then we hear a story of a poor guy being torn by a girl. If you want to see all the details how that can be done, this is the movie you should watch.

Pyaar ka Punchnama starts in a way which makes us believe that men are the absolute rulers of their kingdom. The heroes of the movie, Rajat (Kartik Tiwari), Nishant a.k.a Liquid (Divyendu Sharma) and Vikrant (Rayo Bakhirta) have a quite pleasant life in the same house even though their characters are completely different from each other. These 3 meet their girlfriends around the same time and that’s when the mayhem starts.

The three girls are also quite different from each other but each of their poison matches very well with guys’ weaknesses. It is quite interesting to see how girls play their games on boys and how things get devastated throughout the movie.

Towards the end, I found myself feeling pity for and saying “Leave her, just leave her!” to each and every of the boys. It’s a light, relationship movie mixed with good amount of comedy. You can definitely choose it for its entertaining features but I suggest you don’t watch it with your special one just to prevent any heated conversation about relationship :) Enjoy!

  1. I didn’t really know what to think of this movie… some parts were entertaining and fun, but I also found it a little offensive towards girls. And quite predictable.

    • Hmm…you think so? well I hope the movie didn’t aim to introduce these girls as typical women since they were quite a special breed :) And yes it was quite predictable but somehow I liked it :)
